On Friday 17th January The Black Mountain Centre hosted an unforgettable ABBA Night, and let’s just say, it was a Super trouper night! FABBA MANIA sung ABBA’s greatest hits and did a fantastic job transporting everyone back to the vibrant 70s.
Dressed to impress
The community came dressed to impress, with a fantastic array of ABBA-inspired outfits. From flared trousers to sequined dresses, the fashion was just as spectacular as the music.
Some people even went the extra mile with wigs, platform shoes, and bell bottoms – it was like stepping straight into an ABBA music video. It was clear that everyone had put a lot of thought into their looks, adding an extra layer of fun to the night.
Scott Davies (Centre Manager) “What made the night truly special was the sense of togetherness. The ABBA Night wasn’t just about the music and dancing – it was about bringing the community together to create memories, share laughter, and simply have a good time.
It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful music can be in creating bonds and making lasting memories. Thanks to everyone who joined us, dressed up, and danced the night away, our ABBA Night was a massive success. A big thank you also to the volunteers and organisers who made the event possible. We can’t wait to do it all over again!”
If you missed it, don’t worry – stay tuned for future events that promise even more fun, music, and memories at our community centre.
