About Us

The Black Mountain Centre is so much more than just a Community Centre
At the heart of the local community the Centre is a one-stop shop for the residents of Brynaman and the surrounding area. It provides a non-threatening place where local people can drop in for a cup of tea, a meal or just to find out what is going on in the village.
The Centre provides educational classes and courses, a part-time library, doctor’s surgery, as well as IT facilities and access to the Internet.
The Black Mountain Community Cafe, located at the heart of the Centre – is a comfortable and informal place to meet friends and family for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or just a coffee and a chat. Enjoy our traditional home-cooked food as well as tasty daily specials.
We are open from 9.00am until 5pm, Monday to Friday, as well as being available for private events.
We have a selection of rooms for hire, catering for all requirements.
It is an exciting time for the village of Brynaman and the surrounding area, and we are keen to develop sustainable and economic growth, through Tourism, as well as being a Centre of Excellence for Education.
We have secured funding to increase and modernise our existing facilities, enabling us to expand our service to the public and private sector, as well as the local community as a whole.
